Account and business data you enter into Baats Accounting, such as customers, suppliers, invoices, tax registration numbers and bank transactions.
Usage data, such as pages visited, device and browser type, collected to keep the service secure and improve it.

How we use it

To respond to your request and arrange demos.
To provide, secure and support Baats Accounting, including sending e-invoices to your accredited service provider, and through it to the Federal Tax Authority, at your instruction.
To meet our legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell personal information.

Sharing and transfers

We share information only with service providers who help us run Baats (such as hosting, email and accredited e-invoicing service providers), with tax authorities when you send an e-invoice, or where the law requires it. Where information is processed outside the UAE, we use safeguards that the law requires.

Retention

We keep business records for as long as your account is active and for any longer period required by UAE tax record-keeping laws. Demo request details are deleted within 24 months if you do not become a customer.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it, by emailing [email protected]. We reply within 30 days.

Security

We encrypt data in transit and at rest and limit access to staff who need it to provide the service.

Changes

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. For significant changes we will notify customers by email.
